Mental health care
In Finland having a mental health problem is not a big deal. All mental health and other physical problems are treated the same.

If you have mental health problems, at first you have to visit your health care center. Your own doctor examines you and psychiatrist-nurse also will assess you. If you need more help, your doctor sends you to the psychiatrists.

Visiting the psychiatrist:

Psychiatrist is a doctor who is certified in treating all different mental disorders. Not only crazy or mad people visit psychiatrist, but you can book an appointment if you have any problem related to your mental health.

Psychiatrist session lasts about an hour and the doctor asks people a lot of questions. It is possible that you get the same questions again during the next meeting. It seems to be boring, but feel free to answer because psychiatrist wants to have a full picture about your problem.
